门窗结露就是在门窗的室内表面凝聚着露水或水雾。当固体（玻璃、窗扇、窗框）表面温度较周转临近潮湿空气的露点温度低时，空气当中的水蒸汽变化为液体的水凝结在冷的固体表面，就会产生结露现象，当结露比较严重或者不能很快蒸发时，水膜就会形成水滴沿着玻璃的边部流淌下来。阳面的门窗会较少出现结露现象，阴面的厨房卫生间的会较多出现结露现象。结露会阻挡视线减少自然光进入以及对室内物品产生影响如玷污、汕漆爆皮甚至发霉等。
