门窗与钢筋混凝土墙体的连接可用固定钢片（或燕尾铁脚）射钉或金属膨胀螺栓连接等。当采用固定钢片连接固定门窗时，门窗四周边框与墙体之间的缝隙应采用水泥砂浆塞缝。水泥砂浆塞缝能使门窗外框与墙体牢固可靠地连接，并对门窗的框料起着重要的加固作用。当缝隙采用聚胺脂泡沫填缝剂或其它柔性材料填塞时，固定钢片应采用燕尾铁脚代替，以保证门窗与墙体的连接固定可靠度。门窗与砖墙的连接可用固定钢片（或燕尾铁脚)金属膨胀螺栓连接。在砖墙上严禁采用射钉固定门窗。同钢筋混凝土墙体一样，当采用固定钢片时缝隙应采用水泥砂浆塞缝，当缝隙采用聚胺脂泡沫填缝剂或其它柔性材料填塞时，应采用燕尾铁脚固定。
